The Student Support Office offers online counseling to prevent infection. Please be sure to read and agree to the following points regarding to the online counseling even if you apply only for face-to-face counseling.
When conducting online counseling, please maintain an environment where the contents of the counseling will not be leaked to others and privacy can be ensured. If the counselor determines that the safety is insufficient, the session may be switched to other methods, or be suspend and rescheduled to other dates.
Please take measures for the devices and lines security used for counseling. However, depending on the condition of both devices and lines, it may not be possible to completely prevent information leakage due to unauthorized access.
In order to prevent leaks of counseling contents, it is prohibited to record, photograph, or film the contents of online counseling.
There is a possibility that the counseling may be interrupted, or the counseling time may be shortened due to poor communication conditions. Even in that cases, the counseling time may not be extended.
In principle, a third party such as a family member is not allowed to attend the counseling, even if it is the online counseling. If there is a clear reason for this, please consult with the counselor in advance.
Online counseling may not be able to provide the same level of service as face-to-face counseling. For example, there is a possibility of communication discrepancies due to delays in the Internet connection, and that the paper materials using for counseling cannot be exchanged.
