[Seminar Summary].
Digital Nature" is a concept in which digital technology and nature merge to create a new form of symbiosis. And the Osaka-Kansai Expo, to be held in 2025, will serve as a testing ground for the future society, showing how advanced technology will transform our lives and society.
In this presentation, I will introduce the latest research on digital nature and its applications, and discuss the possibilities for implementation and experimentation at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. In particular, specific projects in the fields of urban environment, agriculture, and medicine will be discussed and how these projects will help realize a future symbiotic society.
We will also discuss the role that engineering plays and the skill sets required of students, while discussing the latest initiatives in industry and academia. As engineers of the future, we will provide inspiration for building a sustainable and prosperous society through the use of digital technology.
