足もとの岩石も流動する：シマシマした片岩
地表では硬い岩石でも，地下深部のプレート境界で強い力を受けると流動し，シマ模様を形成する．ここでのように流動特性の異なる岩石が混在すると複雑な模様ができる．これが謎の多いスロー地震の正体かもしれない．
