Mechanisms and functions of epigenome regulation in plants

Current Research

We study how epigenome information such as DNA methylation and histone modifications are maintained and inherited in plants. We are also interested in how plants use epigenome information for environmental responses or stress memory. We mainly take genetic and epigenomic approaches to understand the genetic systems that govern epigenome formation and epigenetic inheritance.
