Started the development of magnetic sensors using topological materials

--  Joint Research Launched with The University of Tokyo and Alps Alpine co. LTD.

Overview

(Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hideo Izumi; hereinafter "ALPS ALPINE CO., LTD") and a research group led by Professor Satoru Nakatsuji of the Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo (hereinafter "The University of Tokyo") have started joint research to develop a compact, world-class magnetic sensor with the highest resolution using macroscopic quantum effects in topological magnetic materials. The research group established a Social Cooperation Program in February 2025 and started joint research to develop a compact magnetic sensor with the world's highest level of magnetic resolution using macroscopic quantum effects of topological magnetic materials.
