Research Subject
Genetic structures of marine species in coastal areas around Japan, Formation process of deep-sea fauna of the Japan Sea, ecology and conservation of deep-sea chemosynthesis-based communities
Current Research
In order to obtain useful information for conservation of biodiversity of marine organisms, I analyzed ecology and evolution of benthic species distributed from the coastal to deep-sea areas using nucleotide sequences of DNAs and microsatellites as genetic makers.
