- 7 Contents of work duties
- The successful candidate is expected to lead fundamental research in heavy-ion science and advance nuclear physics through the development of state-of-the-art experimental and measurement technologies. Building on the knowledge and technologies established through fundamental research, the candidate will promote research that bridges basic science and societal implementation by extending nuclear science toward addressing global societal challenges. The candidate is also expected to lead international collaborative research at RIKEN RIBF and other leading research institutions in Japan and abroad, and to actively contribute to the education and training of the next generation of scientists through accelerator- and radioisotope-based education in collaboration with relevant academic units and organizations within the University.
- (Scope of Change) May order reassignment, dual assignment, or secondment. (In principle, the faculty member will not be reassigned or transferred against his/her will. (For details, please refer to Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning the Employment of University of Tokyo Faculty Members.)
- 8 Working hours
- Discretionary work system for professional work applies and working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.

- Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3)

- Basic Salary will be decided taking your academic background, professional career, etc.
- End of semester bonus and diligence bonus (twice a year),Commuting allowance (up to 55,000 per month if the payment conditions are satisfied), and other allowances decided by the University.

- You will be enrolled in the insurance from the Mutual Aid Association of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and Employment Insurance by being provided for in the law.
