6 Contents of work duties
The successful candidate will engage in research and education in the fields of Biological Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Data Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Nanotechnology, in close collaboration with Professor Keisuke Goda.
(Scope of Change) May order reassignment, dual assignment, or secondment. (In principle, the faculty member will not be reassigned or transferred against his/her will. (For details, please refer to Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning the Employment of University of Tokyo Faculty Members.)
7 Working hours
Discretionary work system for professional work applies and working hours will be deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.
8 Days off and Leave
Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, and the year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3)
Annual Paid Leave, Special Leave, etc.
9 Wages, etc.
The annual salary system will be applied, and the salary will be determined in accordance with the Regulations on the Application of the Annual Salary System at the University of Tokyo, taking into consideration the candidate’s qualifications, abilities, experience, and other relevant factors.
A commuting allowance (up to JPY 55,000 per month) will be provided if the eligibility requirements are met. For further details regarding salary, please inquire.
10 Insurance
You will be enrolled in the Mutual Aid Association of MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) and Employment Insurance in accordance with applicable laws.
11 Qualification requirements
Applicants should be theoretical, computational, or experimental researchers who conduct leading research in the above field, are highly motivated to engage in undergraduate and graduate education, and hold a Ph.D. or equivalent qualifications.
