Seeking Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science, The University of Tokyo

(Scope of Change) The faculty member will be assigned to the place designated by the University (In principle, the faculty member will not be reassigned or transferred against his/her will. 7. Job Description:
Experimental research on nuclear physics in a broad sense. The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Daisuke Suzuki to conduct research on nuclear physics in a broad sense, mainly on radioactive isotope and low-energy nuclear physics. Commit to future plans in related fields. Provide education in the undergraduate and graduate school. Additionally, conduct international research at the Quark and Nuclear Science Institute established this fiscal year.
(Scope of Change) May order reassignment, dual assignment, or secondment. (In principle, the faculty member will not be reassigned or transferred against his/her will. (For details, please refer to Article 4 of the Regulations Concerning the Employment of University of Tokyo Faculty Members.)
8. Working Hours:
Considered as 7 hours and 45 minutes of work per day under a specialized discretionary working system.
9. Days off:
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays (December 29 to January 3)
10. Leave:
Annual paid leave, special leave, etc.
11. Salary, etc.:
Determined based on academic background, work experience, etc, with the annual salary system.
Allowances: commuting allowance (up to ¥55,000 per month if requirements are met).
12. Social Insurance:
Mutual Aid Association of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and employment insurance as required by law.
13. Qualifications:
Holder of a doctoral degree, or those who are expected to obtain a doctoral degree by the time of appointment.
