Phase transition phenomena of polymer and inorganic materials induced by electric stimuli

Current Research

Aggregation state of molecular assemblies in solutions and molecular dynamics in crystals changes drastically at the phase transition of the materials, and large entropy, enthalpy, or volume changes are generally observed. Our lab studies on the induction of the phase transition of polymer and inorganic materials by electric stimuli and its applications in thermoelectric conversion, thermal storage materials, and soft actuators.
