Ultrafast Data Transfer, Parallel Microprocessor
Our team supports all the School of Science departments and affiliated institutions to be connected to UTnet (backbone network of the University of Tokyo) and SINET (Super Science Information Network) for the full utilization of these networks.
Scientific research requires massive amounts of data handling and high-speed transfer of experiment data. For this reason, we have introduced Data Reservoir that performs ultrafast data transfer and also established an appropriate network system for scientific research. In addition to the above, we carry out educational activities to raise awareness for user security, information ethics, etc. Utilizing speculative execution, our team conducts research not only on multiprocessor architecture that performs massive parallel execution but systems that utilize speculative execution.
