Nano-optics, physics of light-matter interactions
Research Subject
Light-matter interaction at nanoscale and in nearfields
Current Research
I am studying light-matter interaction in nanoscale and in nearfields, with the interest to control the electronic properties of matter, and also to steer and design light propagation and localization (nearfield). We run microspectrometry experiments on metal nanoparticles and nanostructures, and perform electromagnetic field simulations to obtain quantitative understandings of light-matter interaction in the vicinity of optical nearfields near complicated surfaces and interfaces, and to design them.
