Current Research
My research interest is to clarify the formation history of current earth surface environment by restoring crustal, climate and sea-level changes of the Quaternary Era (for the last 2.6 million years) based on landforms and surface geology. Furthermore, I am planning to elucidate the change of earth surface environment made by interactions between human activity and nature from the aspect of conservation of natural environment and disaster prevention by dividing the base layer change of earth environment and artificially-made additional changes.
