Research on Chemical Processes and Catalytic Chemistry on Solid Surfaces
Current Research
I have been working on surface chemical processes on single-crystal surfaces as well as practical catalytic systems based on nanomaterials and ionic liquid materials for the purpose of elucidation and control of catalysis. My current research interests are as follows: 1) Research based on High-Resolution Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy. 2) Research for observing surface reaction based on electon stimulated processes. 3) Synthesis of nanomaterials: control of shape and size and application to catalysis. 4) Development of metal ion-containing ionic liquids and application to catalysis. 5) Analyses of catalytic reactions baesd on Density Functional Theory Calculations.
