Biogenetically inspired synthesis of skeletally diverse natural products and generation of functional mid-sized molecules
Current Research
We are developing both chemical assembly lines and chemo-enzymatic processes to gain rapid access to skeletally diverse natural products and their variants. The densely functionalized molecules will be utilized for chemical genetic and medicinal research. We are also exploring the interface of natural products and supramolecular chemistry by harnessing the untapped potential of natural products bearing specific molecular recognition capabilities.
