Integration of function of multiple motor protein molecules
Current Research
In order to gain an insight into the functional mechanism of single / multiple motor protein molecules, I have been developing the fluorescence imaging and optical trapping system with a nanometer / piconewton accuracy. I focus particulaly on skeletal muscle proteins, myosins and actins.
In muscle cell culture, the dynamics of proteins and intracellular organelles are measured by in-cell imaging to understand the mechanisms of muscle cell fusion and sarcomere formation. I also focus on the extraction of features of cell morphology and kinetics using machine learning.
