Current Research

We are developing a genome assembly algorithm to reconstruct large genomes of larger than 100Mb by new-generation DNA sequencers. Other topics include sequence alignment algorithm, variation detection, and RNA-sequencing. We are also developing a parallel computing framework specifically designed for genome analysis.
