Nuclear Physics
Research Subject
Study of the structure and decay mechanism of unstable nuclei.
Current Research
I conduct research on the structure and decay of atomic nuclei, mainly at radioactive isotope beam facilities such as RIBF at RIKEN in Japan and FRIB at Michigan State University in the United States.
Recently, my work has focused on understanding the β-delayed neutron emission process and its impact on cosmic nucleosynthesis, investigating octupole deformation that breaks reflection symmetry, and studying neutron–proton pair condensation through β decay.
Keywords
Unstable nuclei, gamma-ray spectroscopy, beta-decay, neutron emission
