Interface problems in organic field effect transistors, Chemically prepared graphene and its properties
Current Research
1) By realizing highly-controlled organic-inorganic heterointerfaces, I am aiming for the development of high mobility organic field effect transistors. For this purpose, we apply various surface science tools to analyze the complicated phenomena occurring at the interface.
2) Development of large scale synthesis of graphene for technological applications. Graphene oxide is a promising candidate for this purpose. Graphene edges are expected to show intriguing properties. We synthesize nanographene via chemical vapor deposition and investigate its atomic and electronic structures.
