Current Research

My research field is quantum statistical mechanics.
Using operator algebra theory, I have been working on quantum non-equilibrium statistical physics, asymptotic behavior of quantum spin systems, and classification problem of gapped ground states. About nonequilibrium systems, I mainly worked on a state called NESS(Nonequilibrium steady state), showing Green-Kubo formula, etc.
Asymptotic behavior of quantum spin systems is another topic I like a lot, and I have been working on the large deviation principle, and also showed that macroscopic observables can be approximated by commuting matrices in the norm topology.
Recently, I started to work on the classification problem of gapped ground states. This is a project to classify all the gapped phases in the essential way, and I find it very interesting and important.
