Research Subject
Particle physics experiments and Astroparticle observations with neutrinos
Current Research
My research focuses are studies of the nature of neutrinos as elemental particles, as well as astrophysical studies with neutrinos. In particular, we are aiming for the world's first observation of Diffuse Supernova Neutrino Backgrounds with the Gadolinium-loaded Super-Kamiokande detector (SK-Gd). Our other major goal is to study matter-antimatter asymmetry with accelerator neutrinos produced at J-PARC. In addition, we are conducting researches towards observations at the Hyper-Kamiokande experiment.
