Research Field

Dynamical Systems, Ergodic Theory

Research Subject

The study on generic properties of differentiable dynamical systems defined on a compact manifold, including hyperbolicity and homoclinic bifurcations.

Current Research

I am interested in the Palis Conjecture, that is, the hyperbolic diffeomorphisms are dense in the complement of the closure of diffeomorphisms exhibiting a homoclinic bifurcation in the space of diffeomorphisms on a compact manifold. From the ergodic theoretical view point, I tried to construct hyperbolicity from the supports of invariant measures in order to solve the conjecture for the continuously differentiable case.

Keywords

hyperbolicity, homoclinic bifurcations, homoclinic tangencies, heterodimentional cycles, ergodic measures
