The Students and Researchers Exchange Program in Sciences (STEPS) is an academic exchange program which started in October 2014 and is scheduled for four and a half years. It is one of the programs adopted by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science under its Re-Inventing Japan Project. Under this Program, the School of Science and Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, promote researcher and student exchanges with Lomonosov Moscow State University and Saint Petersburg State University.
