[Event Report] Dean’s Annual Party
GSC students and staff members were invited to the School of Science Dean's Annual Party, which took place on Monday, January 23rd, 2017.
The party was hosted by Dean Hiroo Fukuda who launched the event with a speech welcoming his guests. A delicious range of food and drinks were served, and three students gave entertaining presentations, introducing guests to their home countries’ cultures.
The party concluded with a closing speech by Professor Kaoru Yamanouchi, Vice-Dean of the School of Science, and our program’s coordinator.

Former GSC student Wenyu gave a talk about Chinese food.
She is currently a first-year Master’s student in the Department of Chemistry
on the Global Science Graduate Course (GSGC).

First year Master’s student Angelina gave a talk about German culture.
She is in the Department of Chemistry and did her undergraduate degree
at Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany.

Hocheon, who is a first-year Master’s student in the Department of Chemistry,
gave a demonstration of bona, a traditional Korean art form,
which he has performed on more than 50 stages across Japan.
