Visit to the Institute of Earth Science, SPbU
Professors and students from the Department of Civil Engineering have visited the Institute of Earth Science, Saint-Petersburg State University (SPbU) for a round table meeting with representatives of the institute on August 11, 2016.
After a brief introduction of current research projects from each side, both sides acknowledged their strong mutual interest in the fields of oceanography, hydrology, urban studies, geographical information, meteorology. It was agreed that along with broadening the student and researcher exchange in the STEPS program, research exchange (joint seminars, collaborative research, etc.) should be promoted as well.
