12th-15th 4PM Seminars held

FoPM holds the "4PM Seminar", a play on words of the name of the program, online every month on a Wednesday from 4pm.

In each seminar, professors from various fields are invited as guest speakers and give an interesting speech about their research. After that, a few selected FoPM students make short presentations about their research beyond their own specialist fields and the other students evaluate their presentations through questionnaires. The aim is for students to realize their strengths and weaknesses and to improve their presentation skills. As the last part of the seminar, the students are divided into small groups using the breakout room system in Zoom which enables them to communicate with students and professors with whom they don't usually have a chance to interact.
