Access

Getting to the Hongo Campus

The gallery is located at the entrance of Koshiba Hall on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Science Bldg.1 (Center), Hongo Campus, The University of Tokyo.

Visitor Guidelines

The Science Gallery is in the Faculty of Science Bldg.1, which houses Koshiba Hall as well as offices and lecture rooms. Therefore, please refrain from loud conversations inside the building to avoid disrupting others.

In addition, please note the following:

No food or drinks in the gallery.
Please set your cell phones to silent mode and refrain from talking on them.
Smoking is not permitted in the building.
Please do not touch the display cases.
Please do not touch any exhibits unless otherwise indicated.
Photography and video are permitted for personal use only.

We also request the following from visitors:

Please refrain from visiting the gallery if you are not feeling well.
Please wear a mask while in the gallery.
Please use the provided hand sanitizer to disinfect your hands when visiting the gallery.
Please keep a safe distance from others while in the gallery.

Admission	Free
Hours	Weekdays 9:00-17:00 ※Opening hours may be subject to change.
Closed	Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays The gallery is also closed during the University's vacations.
