On July 11, 2022, the Science Gallery of School of Science in the Faculty of Science Bldg.1 was renovated.
The gallery has previously featured exhibits related to Nobel Prize-winning research by our graduates, special University Professor Dr. Masatoshi Koshiba and his student, Distinguished University Professor and Special University Professor Takaaki Kajita. In this renewal, we have added the exhibit on Dr. Syukuro Manabe, the first receipt of the Nobel Prize in Physics in the field of Earth science in 2021. Three replicas of the Nobel Prize medal and the Nobel Prize-winning research are on display.
In addition to the Nobel Prize-related exhibits, the gallery space has been expanded to include an overview of School of Science and its history, as well as exhibits and videos on our cutting-edge scientific research.
Everyone is welcome to view the exhibition free of charge and experience the wonder of science.
