物理学の基礎を学んだ学部学生、および、学部で天文学を学んで来なかった大学院生を主な対象とする（大学院・学部共通講義）。天文学の理解に必要な基本的な天体輻射過程をわかりやすく解説し、天体観測やモデル構築に適切に応用する力をつけることを目的とする。波長としては紫外線・可視光・赤外線を中心とし、天体は主に星や星雲を対象とする（高エネルギー現象、電波や星間物質については別の講義に譲り、ここでは基本的に扱わない）。 For undergraduate students with background of basic physics, and also for graduate students who are new to astronomy. This class introduces basic radiative processes in astrophysics for appropriate handling of astronomical data/models. Covers radiative processes mostly in optical, infrared, and ultra-violet wavelength ranges. The main astrophysical targets are stars and nebulae. Note that high energy and radio processes as well as interstellar medium are subject to other classes. |
