Global Science Graduate Course (GSGC) is an international graduate level course established in 2016 at the Graduate School of Science which allows students to obtain their degrees in English. It aims to foster international academic collaboration and promote diversity.
Currently 39 students from 9 different countries belong to the course. As previous years, GSGC hosted an Exchange Meeting Seminar on October 31, 2019. This meeting is held to facilitate communication amongst GSGC Faculty Members and students, sharing student’s daily activities to further their research.
In the seminar, four academic presentations were made by GSGC students. Each designed to be easily understood by attendees outside their own research fields. Toward the end of the seminar, professors made a welcome speech, newly enrolled students gave an introduction presentation, and seniors from the course wished them all the best with their studies. Roughly 60 students and professors attended this year and it was heralded as a success.
