The Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU) at the University of Tokyo

The Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU) at the University of Tokyo invites applications for a tenured full professor position in gravitational wave data analysis. The successful candidate is expected to carry out a variety of projects related to gravitational-wave astronomy and astrophysics, and data analysis of the forthcoming KAGRA data in collaboration with the group in Institute of Cosmic Ray Research at the University of Tokyo.

3. Required Qualifications
PhD in physics or astronomy, and outstanding research records as well as the ability to teach physics at both graduate and undergraduate level.
4. Date of Commencement of Employment
As soon as possible after decision is made
5. Working Hours
Discretionary labor system: 7 hours and 45 minutes per day; subject to the employees' discretion.
6. Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end through New Year holidays (from December 29 to January 3 of the following year).
Annual paid holiday, special leave, etc.as prescribed by the University of Tokyo's regulations.
7. Salary
Monthly salaries will be determined based upon the appointees' academic background, careers and so on. Additional benefits will also be provided as prescribed in the University of Tokyo regulations.
8. Insurance
Appointees will be enrolled in the Mutual Aid Association of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology as well as employment insurance.
