The Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU) at the University of Tokyo
The Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU) at the University of Tokyo invites applications for a tenured full professor position in gravitational wave data analysis. The successful candidate is expected to carry out a variety of projects related to gravitational-wave astronomy and astrophysics, and data analysis of the forthcoming KAGRA data in collaboration with the group in Institute of Cosmic Ray Research at the University of Tokyo.

- 3. Required Qualifications
- PhD in physics or astronomy, and outstanding research records as well as the ability to teach physics at both graduate and undergraduate level.
- 4. Date of Commencement of Employment
- As soon as possible after decision is made
- 5. Working Hours
- Discretionary labor system: 7 hours and 45 minutes per day; subject to the employees' discretion.
- 6. Holidays
- Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end through New Year holidays (from December 29 to January 3 of the following year).
- Annual paid holiday, special leave, etc.as prescribed by the University of Tokyo's regulations.
- 7. Salary
- Monthly salaries will be determined based upon the appointees' academic background, careers and so on. Additional benefits will also be provided as prescribed in the University of Tokyo regulations.
- 8. Insurance
- Appointees will be enrolled in the Mutual Aid Association of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology as well as employment insurance.
