Caution (When using combustion-type heating appliances)

In principle, please refrain from using combustion-type heating appliances in your laboratory, room, or office. When using them in a place where no combustible chemicals such as organic solvents are used, pay attention to the following points:

  1. Ventilate the room regularly. Do not use combustion-type heating appliances in a place where there are no ventilating fans.
  2. Do not block air supply opening(s).
  3. Before using heating appliances, check them together with gas pipes, power cables, and outlets.
  4. Refrain from using them continuously at night to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
