（山室）近年、中性子散乱法は固体物理だけでなく、化学、生物学、材料科学などの分野で大きな力を発揮している。これは、中性子がもつ優れた透過性や水素などの軽原子からの散乱に対する優位性によるところが大きい。講義では中性子散乱法の基礎を解説するとともに、実際に化学分野で行われている最新の研究を紹介する。 (Yamamuro) Recently, neutron scattering is a powerful method for not only solid state physics but also chemistry, biology and material science. This is mainly due to excellent transparency of a neutron and its superiority for the scattering from light atoms such as hydrogen.
