私たちは主に電磁波を通して天体からの情報を得ており、とりわけ分光観測によって得られる天体のスペクトルには天体の物理的・化学的性質、運動等に関する情報が豊富に含まれている。本講義では、まず天体からの輻射とスペクトルに関する基礎的事項を解説する。続いて、恒星大気のスペクトルから恒星の化学組成や運動についてどのような情報が引き出せるかを解説する。さらに、恒星や惑星のスペクトルを得るための光赤外線波長域における分光観測の手法を解説し、最後に、近年急速に発展する系外惑星の観測について紹介する。 |
