Course details

宇宙では、超新星爆発や中性子星合体などの突発現象が起きている。
この授業は、突発現象の物理や放射過程について理解すること、
実際の天文観測データから何が分かるかを理解すること、
宇宙の元素の起源について現状の理解を把握することを目標とする。

It is known that explosive transients such as supernova explosions and neutron star mergers occur in our Universe.
The goals of this lecture are
(1) understanding the physics and radiation processes of these explosions,
(2) understanding what we can learn from astronomical observations of transients, and (3) knowing the current understanding on the origin of the elements.
