Current Research
Strong electron-electron correlation can induce non-trivial quantum states. For example, Tomonaga-Luttinger liquid can be formed in interacting one-dimensional systems. On the other hand, "strange metal" state can also appear even in the three-dimensional system such as the two-channel Kondo effect. We study such highly entangled exotic quantum states by designing simple ideal systems, and performing various low-temperature measurements such as specific heat, magnetization, electrical and thermal transport, and magnetostriction.
