Research of High-Temperature Superconductors and Strongly-Correlated Transition Metal Oxides using Photoemission Spectroscopy
Current Research
I am working on elucidation of the origin of novel physical properties in the strongly correlated electron systems (e.g. high-temperature superconductor) by observing Fermi surface, band dispersion, and quasi-particle structure based on Angle-Resolved Photoemission Spectroscopy (ARPES). Also, I aim to understand many-body interactions of electrons by analyzing the electronic states near the metal-insulator transition (Mott transition) caused by strong electron correlation.
