High-Temperature Superconductor and its Competing Novel Electronic Phase
Current Research
In a high-temperature superconductor, a representative strongly-correlated electron system, electron spin and charge appear to set apart, and electronic phase with new order/symmetry is formed in a self-organized way by the condensation of electric charge (superconductivity) and condensation of spin (spin liquid). I work on novel electronic phase formed by these dynamical electrons, using a variety of methods such as electronic transport phenomena, far-infrared spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy, STM, muon spin rotation. I am aiming for the elucidation of high-temperature superconductor mechanism and realization of room-temperature superconductor.
