Reaction Mechanism of Nuclear Fission, Development of Detectors Using AMS (Accelerator Mass Spectrometry)
Current Research
Mainly, at the accelerator facility on the Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), I am researching in the details of reaction paths in proton-induced fission of actinide and the effect of angular momentum that the reaction system possesses on the fission, by using the Time of Flight (TOF) method. I am also engaged in the development of low background detectors and gas counters aimed for particle identification in AMS.
