Research Subject
Non-Equilibrium and Nonlinear Phenomena in Strongly Correlated Electron Systems
Current Research
I am engaged in theoretical study on how the phase transition phenomena, which is found widely in strongly correlated electron systems, occur under non-equilibrium conditions (e.g., under high bias voltage, light irradiation). In particular, I am focusing on the time evolution after stamping of outer field in electron systems as well as the electronic state of interface that determines IV characteristcs. These problems are strongly related to the fundamental problems of quantum statistical mechanics. Also, they are drawing attention in many fields from the viewpoint of application.
