Research Field
Coordination Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Photochemistry
Research Subject
Transition metal complexes that respond to light, electron and magnetic field, and synthesis of their connected bodies, structures and properties
Current Research
Creating molecules that change their behaviors in response to environments such as light, electric field, magnetic field, protons and the like and assembling them in precise combination will lead to the creation of molecular devices of new conception. From this point of view, we are working to make novel metal complexes that show multiple responsiveness composed of transition metal atoms and π conjugated system. By arraying them on conjugated polymer, electrode surface and metal nanoparticle surface, we are aiming to build an “Intelligent Molecule System”.
