Research Field
Magnetospheric physics
Research Subject
Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) instabilities in the magnetosphere
Current Research
My research interests are the study of MHD instabilities in the magnetosphere such as interchange and ballooning instabilities, which are analyzed by a magnetospheric energy principle, and also the study of Kelvin-Helmholtz instability driven by shears in the flow velocity. Consequences of those MHD instabilities in the magnetospheric dynamics are also studied.
