Construction and operation of the data analysis system for the ATLAS experiment which uses the LHC accelerator at CERN
Current Research
I am working on experiments in the field of elementary particle physics which use collider accelerators of the world's highest energies. Primarily I have been engaged in the international collaboration called ATLAS which uses the LHC accelerator, a proton-proton collider constructed at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), and is scheduled to start a full-fledged data taking phase in the year 2009. I have been constructing a so-called regional analysis center in Japan for analyzing a huge amount of data generated by the ATLAS experiment. I am devoloping and operating its computer system.
