Current Research
Human cells show a variety of responses. However, the number of signaling pathways is much smaller than the responses and limited. So how are various input and output methods controlled in limited signaling pathways? It is believed that various responses would be controlled in limited pathways if a combination of multiple molecules and pathways and/or different time waveforms in the same pathway were decoded separately. I am working to elucidate the structure of this information code based on systems biology using mechanisms of hormone action as a subject of my research.
