Elementary Particle Experiment
Research Subject
Elementary Particle Experiment Using High Energy Accelerators, Research on Future Plans for Accelerators
Current Research
I have been working on experiments using the highest energy accelerator to explore novel particles and phenomena that determine comprehensive directions for elementary particle physics (e.g. Higgs particle, supersymmetric particles, effects of hidden dimensions, etc.), which is also related with cosmology. In addition, I am engaged in the development of particle detectors as well as smaller experiments like BES that is a lower energy e+e- collider experiment in Beijing. I am also one of the leading members for promotion and study on the next e+e- linear collider project, namely ILC (International Linear Collider), that is not only the next domestic backbone plan but an international future plan.
