Response of coral reefs to global changes
Current Research
To understand formation and maintenance processes of coral reef landform and ecosystem and their response to past, present and future global changes (CO2 increase, global warming and sea level rise) to construct coexistence system between ecosystem and human being. Major approach is fieldwork followed by analysis in laboratory on seawater carbonate system, isotopes and community structure.
