Research Theme
Study of high-spin states using nuclear reactions by unstable/stable nuclear beams. Study of super-heavy elements
Summary of Research
I am primarily focusing on the study of high-spin states in atomic nuclei. By means of nuclear reactions such as fusion-evaporation, Coulomb excitation, and direct reactions using stable and unstable nuclear beams, high-spin states of unstable nuclei, which could not be studied in the past, will be generated. I am studying nuclear structures (deformation, shell structures, etc.) with changing spins and isospins by using in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopic techniques. I am also investigating super-heavy elements (Z>100) using low-energy nuclear reactions.
