Research Subject
Celllar and Molecular Physiology of Neuromodulatory Action of Peptidergic Neurons
Current Research
1. Excitation-Secretion coupling of single peptidergic neuron using primary culture system of Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) neuron (Single neuron level).
2. Neuromodulatory action of GnRH (or kisspeptin) peptides on CNS circuit (Single neuron ~ neuronal circuit level).
3. Firing activity of neuromodulatory peptidergic neuron during innate characteristic behavior (technical development, in vivo study).
