Currently, about 2,900 international students from 103 countries are studying in the University of Tokyo. To help them lead a comfortable and successful campus life, each department sets up an international office respectively.

The International Liaison Office of School of Science supports about 80 international students enrolled in this School. We deal with matters such as admission & enrollment registration for International Research Students, an arrival orientation, arrangements of scholarships, housing, and visas. We also provide advice on students' lives and organize various intercultural events to enhance mutual understanding.
