Lecture cancellation in case of emergency
When emergency measures for natural or weather-related disasters such as typhoons are taken, causing the full suspension of public transportation services, the School will cancel all lectures in accordance with the conditions listed below if they pertain to the previous day and/or the day of the disaster. Cancellation of the lectures will be announced through both the School's website and each department's website.
Emergency conditions requiring the cancellation of lectures
- 1. When a disaster is expected to hit the Tokyo metropolitan area (e.g., due to a typhoon):
- All morning classes will be cancelled as of 6:00 a.m.
- All afternoon classes will be cancelled as of 10:00 a.m.
- 2. When the JR and major private railway and subway services in the Tokyo metropolitan area are fully suspended:
- All morning classes will be cancelled as of 6:00 a.m.
- All afternoon classes will be cancelled as of 10:00 a.m.
